Sunday afternoon student session

The 14th Australian Barley Technical Symposium Organising Committee would like to invite students involved in barley research to the ABTS Student Session on Sunday 13th September 2009.

The aim of the session is to foster networks between students and industry personnel and explore potential career opportunities in the Barley industry. All students are encouraged and will have an opportunity to conduct short oral presentations on their current or future research, independent of what stage of your studies you are in.  Students will also hear from industry specialists who will discuss career opportunities and  have the opportunity to meet some of the keynote speakers at the conference.

The session will be held on Sunday 13th September, approximately 2pm – 5pm at Novotel Twin Waters Resort, Sunshine Coast and will be followed by the conference Welcome Reception.

All presentations must relate to the conference theme Barley: The Grain for Gain.
